Amazon's Free Kindle App - for computers, tablets and phones. Check your local library to see if they have an app like Libby which enables books to be borrowed.
The REALM Project - A research project from OCLC, The Institute of Museum and Library Services and others to determine how long the virus lasts on library materials. Current test results show that the virus lasts on books for three days. If you stack the books or put them close together on a cart, the virus lasts 6 days. The virus lasts longer if the books are kept in a cold location.
